When you choose a WIFI enabled controller, you can turn your sauna on from anywhere. This is perhaps the most useful WIFI control you’ll find on an appliances. As it provides the ability to prewarm the sauna from the ski hill or the office or anywhere, so when you get home your sauna is ready to use. 

This is a complicated questions, as there are many variables at play. But with proper venting under the sauna heater and on the opposing upper wall of the sauna most saunas will heat in 30-80 minutes. The larger heaters with more rocks, actually take a bit longer to heat up as there is more thermal mass, but they stay warm more easily, and reheat the sauna after the door is opened more quickly. 

The large amount of stone in a huum heater is for steam or Loyly. And when you have a larger mass of stones, you can actually set the temperature of the sauna lower to around 50 or 60 degrees celsius and then pour lots of water on the rocks until you reach 50 or 60% humidity. The goal is to combined these two numbers to reach 110. The steam room option for saunas is a great additional way to use your sauna. 

Huum sauna heaters, and all sauna heaters are limited to 90 degrees celsius. 

All Huum electric heaters require 240 volts, and 30-50 amps of power. When you exceed 11 KW, you may also required a second 240 volt power line. 

Yes for sure! Huum heaters are designed for water to be poured on the rocks adding steam and humidity to the sauna room. With so many rocks, you’ll be able to keep pouring water on the rocks producing as much steam as you like. 

Yes for sure. The huum heater is just the cage and elements. You’ll need a way to control it and turn it on, and this is what you’re buying when you get the controller. If you choose a Huum wood burning heater, then you don’t need a controller, but you do need a vent kit.

The huum controller includes a control box, that everything is wired back to, including the control screen and dial, the huum heater, the thermostat, and the door sensor. 

Yes, as long as your electrician also brings a neutral wire to the control box, because your lights run on 120 volt power. The neutral is required to for the controller to push 120 volt power to your lights.
